#042: Landscape Photography at Cwmystradllyn, Snowdonia, North Wales
I’m back on the trail of obscure landscape photography locations around Snowdonia, North Wales. This time I visit the industrial heritage of the slate quarry at Cwmystradllyn near Porthmadog. It’s set in a very scenic valley with a small reservoir, and there is the quarry itself, the remains of the village where the quarrymen lived and a magnificent derelict processing mill at Ynys y Pandy.
My images are captured with an entry-level Nikon D5500 and small selection of budget lenses. You don't need to spend thousands on equipment to enjoy photography you can be proud of.
