#063: Landscape Photography at Church Bay, Anglesey, North Wales

In this landscape photography vlog I’m back on the trail of obscure locations. And although this is a very popular summer beach with holiday-makers to the island of Anglesey, Church Bay or Porth Swtan as it’s know locally, is not a very well know location to landscape photographers.

It is a secluded bay about 20 minutes from the main A55 and it faces due west. This allows for good sunset potential all year round. It is a mixed beach of smooth sand and very colourful rocks. In the right light it has some really good coastal photography potential.

I visit the day after mid-winter, with a strong westerly wind whipping up the surf, but the temperature and winter sum is welcome.

I’m often asked about the equipment I use. You'll now find details of most of it on my: Gear Page.
