Heading for the high ridge between the Ogwen Valley and Llanberis I had a rough idea about where I might end up pitching my tent for this landscape photography mountain wild camp. Perhaps Foel Goch or Y Garn, dependent on the cloud base. But by the time I had reach the bwlch above Marchlyn Mawr reservoir the clouds had lifted and so I elected to head for Elidir Fawr with its spectacular views up to Snowdon, the Glyders, the Carneddau, down the Llŷn Peninsular and across Anglesey. For a sunset and a following sunrise photo shoot, whilst not perfect, the conditions were pretty good and it resulted in a very enjoyable wild camp and high ridge hike.
I’m often asked about the equipment I use. You'll now find details of most of it on my: Gear Page.
So sorry, but the images from this video have now been archived. As they’re high resolution and large files, I do have to take them down after a few weeks in order to keep the site running smoothly.
I’m afraid that I only maintain images from the most recent few videos available in these vlog pages. Only “keepers” make my main Portfolio page.
