Thank you for viewing my landscape photography.
I do hope you enjoy my images.
My passion: landscapes with a small camera.
My ethos: you have to put yourself in the right place at the right time, for the best chance for the right image. In the meantime, you have to work really hard on your skills and experience, to be ready when the time and place are right.
My landscape photography started way back in 1980 with a Rolleiflex 35mm film SLR, but after a few years I took a short sabbatical from photography. About 3 decades! When digital photography arrived, I found it to be the perfect medium to express my creativity.
I live on Anglesey and travel light; hiking and camping the high ridges of Snowdonia, and wild coastlines of North Wales. I shoot with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 mk2, and mostly just one lens.
My photography reflects the ever-changing light, weather, tides and seasons of this spectacular region. I share my locations on YouTube and show you how to make the most of your landscape photography.
I’m now a semi-professional photographer with a thriving tutorial business. Sharing my passion in person, and helping others to improve, is every bit as fulfilling as producing images of my own.
