Details:

This is a really easy location to find and access if you have mobility problems. Plenty of parking is available right alongside the lakes on the main road between Capel Curig and Beddgelert.

The view of the Snowdon horseshoe is one of the classic Snowdonia compositions and best shot at sunrise as the projected light from behind you shines down the valley.

There are many other landscape photography opportunities around the lake shore and it is highly recommended to the casual Snowdonia visitor who may not wish to hike off the beaten track, but who still wants to get a real taste of the area.
