Details:

Cemlyn Bay it Is a National Trust nature reserve with a brackish lagoon behind a pebble beach. It is approximately north facing, Which makes it a good location for midsummer sunrise and sunset landscape photography.

Parts of the area are fenced off during April, May and June for breeding birds. This scenic location offers access to the Anglesey Coast Path and easy hiking westwards towards Carmel Head about 4 miles distant, where there are great wild camping spots.

The main attraction for the landscape photographer are wide coastal vistas over turquoise seas, and various beaches and inlets offering interesting opportunities for details shots. Whilst there is often a steady flow of visitors here, you’ll never find it anywhere near as busy as some of the other coastal hotspots on the island. So it is well worth a visit with your camera, for a little coastal peace and quiet.
