GROUP PHOTO WORKSHOP:
ON THE ANGLESEY COAST

Saturday 9th September 2023
7 hours – from 13:30 to 20:30 (sunset around 19:50)

We’re visiting the coastal village of Rhosneigr, on Anglesey.

We’ll be starting late to allow for particpants’ travel to the Island and so we can be shooting through sunset into blue hour.

Meeting at the central Rhosneigr Library car park close the town beach, where there are varied coastal environments within short, easy and flat walking distance.

We will encounter wide open beaches, and rocky headlands. Also the small estuary and dunes where the river Afon Crygill snakes into the sea. The location is nicely positioned for sunsets at this time of year, and if we are treated to any sort of decent light and colour, we will be in a good position to take advantage of it. High water is at 19:18, and being a neap tide will work very well for evening compositions.

This is a location which offers great rewards to the landscape photographer in any light and weather conditions. So whatever we encounter I should be able to help you come away with good images to enjoy.
