A Day Out in Glencoe

I recently made a trip up to Scotland to spend a couple of days with my friends from the Photography Pubcast. Jamie had arranged an excellent Airbnb in Glencoe village which made for a very handy base.

Unfortunately, yet typically for the time of year – we visited in late January – the conditions were challenging. Light was hard to come by and frequent rain showers blew through. And a good deal of the heavy snow which had fallen in the weeks prior to our visit had thawed, even from the peaks.

Despite all of which we had a very enjoyable time. You can’t beat hanging out with good mates with common interests.

Here’s the set which I made. I left early on the Sunday as it was heavy rain forecast throughout, so these are from first light on the Saturday through to mid-afternoon.
