Details:
The range on the coastline of Holy Island, Anglesey is a wide area of wetlands and heather moorland sitting above craggy cliffs and rocky outcrops with one or two very small inlets which can offer some dramatic coastal photography in stormy conditions.
As a complete contrast, the huge coverage of colourful heather can make for excellent photography during late summer sunsets. You can also bring a long lens and take different perspectives of South Stack Lighthouse from here as a change from the regular honeypot compositions closer to it.
The range can be quite boggy in winter when wellies are highly recommended but the walking is flat and easy with well-defined pathways amongst the heather with the Wales coast path taking you around the perimeter along the clifftops.
