Details:

Cable Bay is a lovely south west facing beach right on the main coastal road with easy parking. Which makes it pretty popular between April and October. That said, it is still possible to find some space there very early and late, and walking along the coastal path, either east or west will afford some solitude most of the time.

Parking is pay and display and access to the beach is right alongside the carpark.

This beach is a lovely spot for year round sunsets, either over wet flat sand with a stream running across the beach, or from nearby cliff-tops. It can be difficult some of the time as it catches every breath of the prevailing south-westerly wind which is whipped up the Irish Sea. But, on the plus side, tides are less of an issue here than some other local coastal spots. So if the tide is unfavourable elsewhere you can head here and still get some interesting compositions.

There are other locations within easy walking distance, so you have quite a bit of choice if you park up here.
