Llyn Gwynant, Park & Shoot (Ep #120)

Details:

Llyn Gwynant is a lake of some 120 acres, about 200 feet above sea level. It is north-east of Beddgelert.

There is limited parking nearby in pull-ins off the main road, care is needed. There is also paid parking at the Watkin Path. Sherpa buses run past the lake. For the more adventurous, the Welsh Highland Railway runs a limited service to Beddgelert, followed by a pleasant walk to Llyn Gwynant.

There are no facilities at the lake, the nearest toilets and refreshments are in at Caffi Gwynant.

This is a beautiful location, full of photographic opportunities in all directions.
