Snowdonia Landscape Photography Road Trip (EP #195)

Details:

The main thing to know about this location is that whilst it is easily accessible, parking alongside the narrow road which leads through the pass fills up very quickly even out of holiday season.

However, there are some fabulous photography options right alongside the road, so if you can get parked, it is well worth a visit. A clear mountain stream tumbles down cascades and between boulders down from Pen y Pass to Llanberis, hemmed in by the steep valley sides, and along its entire length offers great photography opportunities.

If you are feeling more adventurous, you can hike a short way up the valley sides and even if you just get a little elevation more photography opportunities open up. Whilst these climbs might be quite steep, you don’t have to go very far.
