GROUP PHOTO WORKSHOP:
ON THE ANGLESEY COAST
Saturday 14th October 2023
7 hours – from 12:00 to 19:00 (sunset around 18:30)
Spring tide low water at 16:45 so we need to be off the island promptly by 19:00.
We’re visiting the iconic and epic coastal location of Llanddwyn Island, on Anglesey – a must-see for landscape photographers.
We’ll be starting late to allow for particpants’ travel to the Island and so we can be shooting through sunset into blue hour.
Meeting at the main NRW car park by the beach, the island is about 45 minutes walk away and it’s very easy and flat going to reach it. Depending on the tide times we will structure the workshop to avoid getting stranded! But along the way there are countless locations in the sand dunes and the Corsican pine forest, with the backdrop of the mountains on the mainland for plenty of photography subjects.
On the island itself there are of course the iconic buildings, and many sandy and rocky features to enjoy. This is a location which can present challenges, but also great rewards to the landscape photographer in any light and weather conditions. So whatever we encounter I should be able to help you come away with good images to enjoy.
