Techniques for Shooting Moving Water (Ep #162)

In this landscape photography video I show you some of my techniques for capturing moving water. Making a photograph of water which is flowing in a stream or river can be a matter of trial and error to get the shutter speed just how you want it. Also you have to contend with glare from the water and strong highlights in white water which can give you problems when looking to expose your image correctly.

I talk about these and other matters in this photography video on a small brook at my home on Anglesey.

Unfortunately I can only leave my most recent video images up in full resolution, so those accompanying this video have now been removed.

Only my best work is shown (compressed) on my PORTFOLIO page.

I’m often asked about the equipment I use.

You'll find details of most of it on my  GEAR PAGE
